Predappio

An inhabited centre with a long history and of diverse aspects within its territory, Predappio, with its particular urban and architectonic structure built in the Twenties and Thirties of the last century, lies at the foot of a hill upon which stands Predappio Alta, characteristic Medieval village built around the ancient castle of which now only the defence fortress remains to tower over the town.

One of the ERF concerts will be held in the cosy Piazza Cavour, where La ca’de sanzves is situated, this is almost a palace for the ‘king’ of the Romagna wines, Sangiovese, situated inside a building whose cellars date from 14th century

The ERF concert will be held in the magnificent setting of Villa Pandolfa. Located in the district of Fiumana, where the remains of a Roman villa have been found, Villa Pandolfa, originally within a large park, is now surrounded by the largest vineyard of the Rabbi valley. On four storeys, its fine rooms, frescoes and wide staircases make it one of the major villas of Romagna. The wine produced from its vineyard is well-known.
From 6.00 pm to 8.00 pm guided tours to the Villa and to the winery with selected wine tasting.
