Bagnara di Romagna

Throughout the whole of the Emilia-Romagna plain, this village remains the only example of a Medieval ‘castrum’, preserved in its entirety with a wall surrounding the centre.

The ERF concerts will be held in the splendid fifteenth-century Rocca, a massive stronghold built on the orders of Caterina Sforza, and in the vast ancient park of the impressive Villa Morsiani, a fifteenth-century fortification readapted in the eighteenth century. The estate also houses the breeding farm of Saint Bernard Rescue Dogs, the major centre in the world for this breed.
